A WORD FROM THE FOUNDERS

brabr was founded by mother and daughter Robin Braaf and Esther Brugman. brabr is derived from the first letters of our surnames, Braaf and Brugman.

What started as a shared fascination for materials, interiors and scent gradually evolved into something more defined. We were drawn to the quiet impact of objects within a space. Pieces that don’t demand attention, but elevate everything around them.

Each brabr piece is created with that intention.
Hand-poured in natural soy wax and set in solid marble, every candle carries its own character. No pattern repeats, no piece is ever identical.

The process remains close to home. What began between mother and daughter continues in the same way today. Hands-on, considered, and without compromise.

brabr is not about excess.
It is about presence, material, and the way something can subtly shape a space.
